One or More TVs are Not Working

If you have one or more TVs without a picture, please check:

  • Make sure your TV is on the proper channel.
  • Make sure the Set-Top Box is on and receiving power.
  • Make sure the red light on your Set-Top Box is on; steady and not blinking.
**NOTE: A blinking red light on your Set-Top Box indicates that there is no signal to your Set-Top Box. Check to make sure that the Ethernet cable connecting the Set-Top Box and modem or 3-Com switch are plugged in correctly and securely.
  • If your TV is on the proper channel and your Set-Top Box is on (with a steady red light), and you still have no picture, unplug your Set-Top Box, count to 10 and plug it back in to powercycle your Set-Top Box.

Software For Your Set-Top Box

Minerva Middleware
Middleware is the programming that is utilized between the Set-Top Box and your TV, telling your TV which channels to play, how to operate the channel guide and more. Minerva is the middleware that your Set-Top Box is programmed with. To read the users manual for your Minerva middleware, click here.

Troubleshooting Your Picture Quality

Picture Quality

If you are experiencing poor, distorted or fuzzy images with your Digital Cable subscription, please try the following:

  • Make sure your connections to your Set-Top Box and TV are plugged in tightly and securely.
  • Make sure all connections are plugged in to the correct locations.
  • Try changing the channel. If only one channel has poor quality, chances are the transmission that we have received is of low quality, also. Check that channel later.
  • Verify that your Set-Top Box and TV are on the correct resolution.

To check your STB resolution:

  • Open the Menu option via your remote control.
  • Use the “UP” and “DOWN” arrow buttons to select the Resolution feature.
  • Select the Resolution feature by pressing “OK”. (the feature will be highlighted in blue).
  • Use the “UP” and “DOWN” arrow to loop through available choices.
  • Press “OK” to select your choice.

To check the TV resolution:
Use the buttons that are typically located on the front of your TV. You might need to contact the TV manufacturer for further instructions.
